The club welcomes members from all areas and all types of beekeepers and bee enthusiasts. Benefits of membership include:
- Support from fellow and experienced club members
- Beekeeping education and skills development, with opportunity for practical learning at the club apiary
- Access to a members-only online group where support, advice, ideas, and information is shared
- Voting rights and opportunities to become involved in running the club and its apiary
- Opportunities to contribute to local community and participate in public engagement events
- Borrowing rights to the club library
MVBC has three membership categories:

NB: memberships are renewed annually each June.
